City of Garland Government Access Television (CGTV)

City of Garland Government Access Television (CGTV) is available online, including on-demand webcasts of City Council meetings, Plan Commission meetings and other special events.

CGTV is available via GarlandTX.gov, Channel 16 (Time Warner Cable/Spectrum), Channel 44 (Frontier) and Channel 99 (AT&T U-verse).

The Garland City Council holds its Regular Meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. Council Work Sessions take place on the Monday preceding the Regular Meeting. Meetings are broadcast online via live streaming and on-demand, and air on CGTV with several rebroadcasts during the week of the meeting.

Plan Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Mondays of each month. Meetings are broadcast online via live streaming and on-demand, and air on CGTV with several rebroadcasts during the week of the meeting.

Video Billboard presents City announcements in a graphic display format that plays after scheduled programming.

Pre-produced programming includes the Mayor's State of the City Address, City Council District Updates, and various special announcements and programs featuring pet adoptions, public safety issues, recreation and cultural programs, and much more.

In addition, CGTV features programs produced by other government agencies such as the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, Dallas Area Rapid Transit and the U.S. Army.
