At this location you will find news and information about our annual Healthy Living Expo.

Garland’s annual Healthy Living Expo is held each September from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Garland ISD Special Events Center. The Expo provides important information about healthy lifestyles for both people and the environment in which we live.

In 2011, organizers added exhibits and demonstrations focusing on safety issues such as fire prevention, safe driving tips for teens, bicycle safety, a ride and drive event featuring electric and other alternative fuel vehicles and much more. In addition, the Expo annually offers health screenings and immunizations, as well as information on stress reduction, fitness, recycling, conservation, energy efficiency, gardening, alternative fuel vehicles and much more.

The event is free and is hosted by the City of Garland, Baylor Medical Center at Garland, Garland Independent School District, and the Garland Chamber of Commerce.
